"Chaos and Calm" Lisbon-Portugal
THE STORY BEHIND THE PHOTOGRAPH
Hidden within one of Lisbon's narrow streets, this captivating street art commands attention through its piercing gaze and vibrant palette which I titled “Chaos and Calm”. The textures of weathered stone, and expressive colours and framed by exposed cables and peeling paint create a powerful contrast between urban decay and artistic renewal. This photograph highlights Lisbon's thriving street art scene, where every wall tells a story of creativity.

Timber Frames
Each frame is handcrafted in Australia to complement your artwork. Made from solid timber, every frame is carefully finished in your choice of:
Solid Black • Solid White • Natural Raw.
Acrylic Cover
We use high-quality acrylic covers to keep our products lightweight for wall mounting whilst also reducing the risk of damage during shipping compared with traditional glass.
Paper and Canvas
Always handle fine art prints with clean, dry hands or wear suitable gloves to avoid transferring oils and dirt onto the inked surface. Direct contact with the image area should be avoided whenever possible. Handle prints by their edges to minimize the risk of damage.
Flattening Curled Prints: If your paper “rolled” print arrives curled or becomes curled over time, gently flatten it by placing it under a heavy book with acid-free paper interleaved between the print and the book cover.
Sunlight and Temperature Control: To preserve the quality of art prints, avoid exposing them to direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations.
Timber Frame
Our frames are solid timber and finished with a solid colour or naturally raw. Use a clean, soft dust cloth to remove dust from the frame. For a more thorough clean, slightly dampen the cloth with warm water. Avoid using cleaning chemicals as they may damage the frame.
Acrylic Cover
Lightly moisten a soft dust cloth or use a quality plastic cleaner, such as "VuPlex Plastic Cleaner" to wipe the acrylic cover. This will provide a clean and antistatic finish. Avoid cleaning solutions that contain ammonia, alcohol, or abrasives, as they can damage the Acrylic.
